What to try when something is wrong, roughly in the order most likely to help.

Try these first
| What you are seeing | What to try |
|---|---|
| A widget has gone blank, or is showing yesterday | Open the app once. Widgets draw whatever the app last knew. |
| A song will not play | If it came from the library on your phone and 1bit says the media server refused it, open Apple's Music app once and accept whatever it is waiting on. |
| A section has vanished from the launcher | Settings > features. Nothing is deleted, and rows can be switched back on. |
| Music you dropped in over USB has not appeared | Music > database > rescan. |
| Something synced on one phone and not the other | Check the switch on both, and give iCloud a minute. Photographs and recordings do not sync yet. |
